Oh ok, so you are on Ft. Lewis? I visited 2nd Batt. when my company was teaching the Rangers about the Stryker. You know, just the other day a couple of guys were having a big argument about what makes a true Ranger. One guy said that you are a Ranger no matter what when you get that tab, the other guy argued that a true Ranger is one that has the tab and the scroll. What's your opinion on that?
Haha, stationed but not currently there. Active deployment in Iraq. You might've actually met me in the past, I'd received my promotion sometime back when the Stryker was first being deployed.
My opinion? Well, the entire point of a Ranger is to be a man who can fight in any terrain, via any mode; land, sea, or air. If you are not certified to be delivered by any means, you are not a Ranger, and as such, only an Airborne Ranger is a TRUE Ranger. At least, in my opinion, haha. Non-scrollers are Ranger lookalikes.
Myself, I'm a scroller who completed HALO, so naturally I'm going to have a biased POV.

My opinion? Well, the entire point of a Ranger is to be a man who can fight in any terrain, via any mode; land, sea, or air.
